WHAT is it?
Hirosaki Park is located in Aomori Prefecture, and one of the best cherry blossom spots in Japan. You can enjoy Cherry Blossom Tunnel there!
Why is it famous?
1. The most beautiful Sakura in Japan
It is selected for "Sakura's Points of Interest 100 Selections" as well as 100 Japanese city parks and 100 historical parks in Japan. It is also counted as "the three major cherry blossom spots in Japan" alongside Yoshino Mountain in Nara Prefecture along with Takafujyo Ruins Park in Nagano Prefecture.
2. Big Sakura festival
In the blossom season, Hirosaki Sakura Festival is held every year. Not only cherry blossom, but you can also enjoy Japanese street foods!!
In Japan, we have a proverb that "Hana yori Dango", it literally means "Dumplings rather than flowers". Some people are looking forward to visit here, not just flowers, but treat they can enjoy, seeing the picturesque scenery!
You can enjoy beautiful cherry blossoms of over 2500 trees. At night, the illumination makes cheery blossom tunnels more romantic.

【By Air】Haneda airport in Tokyo to Aomori Airport for 1h and 15mins, takes bus to Hirosaki for 55mins
【By Train】Takes Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Shin-Aomori Station for 3h 10 mins, and then takes limited express tsugaru for 30mins to Hirosaki Station
At JR Hirosaki Station Takes Dotemachi Loop Bus, and get off at Shiyakusho-mae bus stop. Takes 15 mins
