The delightful pink carpet of Shibazakura in Yamanashi Prefecture is waiting for you with picturesque scene!
WHAT is it?
Approximately 800,000 stalks of Shibazakura, moss phlox is blooming in an huge site at the base of Mt.Fuji. Five varies which have slightly different colors are on display. The festival is held in that period, and you can also enjoy local foods.

From the middle of April to the end of May from 8:00 to 17:00*The dates and hours may be changed, depending on the flowering conditions.

HOW to get there?
Easily accessible by public transportation from Tokyo
【By Train】From Tokyo to Lake Kawaguchi Station, it takes around 2 hours.
【By Bus】From Tokyo to Kawaguchi Station for arund 2.5 hours, and then from there takes Shibazakura Liner for another 30mins
Fee:
Adults (middle school or older): 600 yen for individuals (500 yen for groups)
Children (3 or older): 250 yen for individuals (200 yen for groups)
